Thank Google! Selection and verification of journalistic sources

Journalists find and select their sources online more and more. What does this mean for the selection and verification of those sources? An observation study was conducted among 48 young journalists by recording their research and screen activities and by analysing the content of each action. The results of the study show that research strategies of journalists are mainly determined by what Google offers.
