Els Diekerhof’s doctoral research focuses on changing journalistic research practices. The actual (online) activities and actions of journalists when collecting and verifying information and sources are studied. The research must also give clarity on the role credibility plays as part of the journalistic professional ideology and as guiding principle for journalistic information collection.
